As I step away from the easel......

...having just finished the last of the Christmas commissions, I can look forward to a well-earned rest, well, I say rest but......

I shall be planning next year's themes for my exhibitions (wherever they may be) plus opening my books for commissions.

Although 2020 has been a strange year, it has been really good for me as an artist, as during lockdown I produced most of my current works. Not being able to go out, I set my easel up in the garden and spent my days creating. I found this excellent for my mental wellbeing as well as my portfolio.

I was pleased that after lockdown, the 2 exhibitions which were booked prior went ahead and I still have artwork on display at one of the venues.

I don't know what 2021 will bring but I endeavour to create as much art as time will allow, fulfil all my commissions and have a blooming good time in the process.

So I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and thank you for your support and encouragement throughout 2020.

So until next time..........

Stay safe

I have added a new painting to my shop. It's a Robin painted in watercolour on a beautiful background. Please take a look. It would make a lovely Christmas gift.
