Kitty needing a home

I bet that got your attention.

Well she soon will be any way, once she has been mounted and photographed properly.

Don't worry, no animals will be harmed during this process.

Of course, I am talking about another piece of artwork, in fact it is another backlit monochrome style piece, that I have grown very fond of doing (pictured below).

However, it needs the same gentle handling as a real cat because, as I mentioned in yesterday's blog post, pastel is delicate and needs protecting from the elements if it is to be enjoyed in years to come. That is why it is important that pastel paintings are framed under glass.

So I will be announcing soon when it makes it in to my online shop.

Do feel free to browse my website, especially the gallery, which showcases some of my previously commissioned portraits and I will be adding to this once permission from the customers have been granted.

So until next time...….

keep well and stay safe :)

I have added a new painting to my shop. It's a Robin painted in watercolour on a beautiful background. Please take a look. It would make a lovely Christmas gift.
